Add a CommentEven though Golden Boy was essentially a sob story, per se, about boxing, very little of its action was actually played out in the ring... In the long run I found this film's story to be too much of a fluffy chick-flick, rather than a rugged guy-flick, due to the unnecessary emphasis that was put on the useless romantic angle of things.... But, all the same, Golden Boy was, at least, worth a view.
