Add a SummaryNick and Allie are complete strangers that ended up dying from a car crash that killed them both. But instead of going to the end of the tunnel, they are trapped in a place between life and death...Everlost. But they don't plan to stay for long. Allie and Nick want to go home. They want their lives back. But the longer they stay in Everlost, the more they find out that it isn't such a good idea. They meet a young boy, and name him Lief. Then, they all are separated. The McGill, a terrifing and well-known monster in Everlost takes Nick and Lief, and its up to Allie to save them. She recruits Mary, leader of a large group of Everlost kids, but she refuses. So Allie, all alone, goes to The McGill. At first, she pretends to be his friend, pretending to teach him how to skin-jack. Later, The McGill finds out and puts her in a room full of other captured Everlost kids. In the end, Mary comes to rescue them all, and finds out the McGill is her own true brother. Nick and Mary, from the best of friends, to the worst of enemies when Nick found a way to the end of the tunnel, and helped other children to "get where they're going".
After a car crash that Nick and Allie didn't survive, they end up in Everlost: a sort of purgatory where they are suposed to wander aimlessly for eternity. But they don't want to just wander for eternity. And Allie wants her life back. The two of them find out that many other people in Everlost don't feel the same, and will go to desperate lengths to keep it the way it is.
Nick and Allie don't survive the car accident... but their souls don't exactly get where they're supposed to get either. Instead, they're caught in a sort of limbo known as Everlost: a shadow of the living world, filled with all the things and places that no longer exist.

Add a CommentThe whole series is awesome! Dead people rock!
One of the best books I've ever read! Great book
I can't believe I found it! I read this book about a year ago and for the life of me I couldn't remember what the title was until now. Neal Shusterman is a great author, no matter how boring the description is. This series should've been made into three movies, not Twilight..
i started and i cant put it down its awsome (is there a sequel
Finally!!! I got this book in from the library and at first I was kinda weary about it seeing that the description of it is soooo boring. I truly think they should just take the description that's actually on the inside cover of the book. Well, I'll add another comment when I finish it! Keep Reading On!!!!!
This book rocks! And how does the description managed to make it sound boring? It's amazing!
interesting ending.
Fun read - great twists.
This is such a good book! I love it! Though it may seem boring in the beginning, keep reading, and you're in for a ride of your life!
This book is great fun.
