Add a CommentMight have been a trend-setter back in the day but it hasn't aged very well. On-location shooting helps but that's about it.
There are eight million stories in the naked city, and this is a pretty average one. The filmakers are so occupied with avoiding the usual tricks, they fail to come up with anything better. But the big, bad city is looking fine, all tarnish and silver in the sun. Suggestion: turn off the sound, and voice over your own story. Charlie Parker would work for music.
