Add a CommentBetween what The Oracle, The Merovingian, The Architect, and, even, Smith said, I thought that these characters were all a bunch of devious, double-talking charlatans who tried to fill our eager, putty-like brains with a whole lot of pure bunk._____ I don't know about you, but I thought that Neo and Trinity made for a pair of lousy on-screen lovers._____ Watching these 2 "go at it" during the celebrations down in Zion was about as interesting as listening to The Architect go on & on & on with his long-winded spiel concerning the in's & out's (no pun intended) of The Matrix. - or The Councillor's idiot ramblings about "What is control?" - or The Oracle's preposterous bunk._____ From my point of view, this film certainly left a whole lot to be desired. I felt cheated and dissatisfied. It was basically a waste of my time.
This film had some nice elements from the first including Trinity beginning the movie and her continued mastery of motor vehicles. The best part of this film for me, besides the continuing philosophical discussions, was the inclusion of Lambert Wilson and Monica Bellucci. They had some of the best lines in the film and Wilson had charisma to spare. They added a nice, jaded element in contrast to the pure love of Neo and Trinity. Further, The Merovingian pisses; he wouldn't be caught dead "peeing". The soundtrack was also excellent. Morpheus was more irritating here than he was in the original.
i LOVE this movie but it isn't as good as the first
Keanu is the best - that's all that needs saying. What a guy!
Hee-Haw! Hee-Haw! Hee-Haw!.... Only a Donkey(hote), or, should I say, Jack-Ass, would go around calling the rest of us "airheads" just because we don't agree with his naively laughable "analysis" of this mediocre movie... Hee-Haw! Hee-Haw! Hee-Haw!.... Is it just me? - or - Does anyone else out there also think that it totally sucked that "The Oracle" was, in fact, nothing but a fraud? 'Cause, hey, all that she turned out to be was just another program from the machine room, meant only as one thing - Another form of control.... What I did like about this film was the up-graded "Agents". Yeah. They were cool dudes. I also really enjoyed all of the fighting that went on in this film. To me, the fighting was probably the only worthwhile reason for bothering to watch this picture.
This movie is very explicit with bad symbols, swear languages, and sexual content, but overall (the plot), it's good. PS: the second disc isn't a part of the movie
A good sci-fi film with plenty of well-orchestrated action, mostly with CGI. If you are really into this kind of things then you should watch it on the big screen. The plot is a bit too complex to follow. If you are a computer geek it helps a little. The depiction of a world we hope we will never become is visually stunning and credible.
Epic!!! But it had to end like that? Like common!!!
This movie demands HOMETHEATER!!! I have all three Matrix movies and enjoyed them all. A treat for audio freaks and the action is off the hook. I watched this one "Reloaded" with my friend and she was screaming her head off during the "Highway scene." She was acting like a little kid pretending to drive the motorcycle around all the cars and trucks heading in the wrong direction. I'm sitting next to her as she pretends to steer the cycle. Watching her move from side to side like she dodging and weaving through traffic on my futon. She was having her own matrix. Ha,ha,ha,ha. I was cracking up. She is a grown mature woman who was caught up in the moment watching this film. And for that i give this action packed movie 5 stars!!!! For making my friend bug out, great action, great sound, and of course the characters are so cool. A large bowl of Beans&Franks sprinkled with sugar and a little milk. Cream soda.
i enjoyed this movie, but watch the first first, or you wont get it
